Tale of a Barren Land…
The thought is shuddering; the grief is infinite…
When people walk past, mocking at my plight.
Little do they realize that I am waiting too...?
Like any other ‘Woman’, to comprehend;
This wonderful notion of experiencing,
A little flower blossom on this barren land!
Seasons have come; seasons have gone,
Sometimes autumn, sometimes spring,
Amidst the greenery, flowers bloom!
A little thought, I so cherish…
When I see, cows graze with swollen bellies!!
This horrendous saga;
makes me rigid, for words …
But, I find my eyes going moist,
at the sight of innocent lads;
standing alongside lanes,
without someone of their own…or perhaps even a ‘Home’
Years have gone by, waiting to realize …
The dream of cuddling, a little bundle of joy;
Someone, I could call, my very own boy!
Oh dear, can I wait any longer, to witness
A little flower blossom on this barren land…???
Yours truly,
